WHEN A PIANIST, ETTORE POZZOLI AND A PIANO FAZIOLI MEET IN SEREGNO….

“Ettore Pozzoli brings me back to the childhood period, when I made the first sounds in front of what then, and still today, appeared to me as an infinite and mysterious keyboard.
It is an honor to be able to play in your competition and perform one of his songs with the freedom that I was then denied. “
Dino Rubino
A wonderful evening to end the JAZZin SEREGNO FESTIVAL 2019 and start the Ettore Pozzoli International Piano Competition,
in full public, at the “L’Auditorium”, last Saturday 21st September at 9.00pm in Seregno.

The “piano solo” concert by Dino Rubino has literally bewitched the audience.

Thanks to the co-production of the event of the Municipality of Seregno through the Culture Office, the San Giuseppe di Seregno Cultural Circle and the Paper Moon Jazz Club Seregno
there was a memorable interpretation of the well-known pianist from Catania, Dino Rubino, star of the first magnitude of Italian and international jazz.

Dino has been able to accompany the public on a suggestive journey with improvisations and interpretations of jazz and other air that have ranged from pieces composed by him to Gershwin up to Riz Ortolani including a tribute to Ettore Pozzoli.

Splendid companion of this beautiful musical journey was a very prestigious Fazioli Gran Coda piano, with a unique and incomparable sound, an expression of the excellence of Made in Italy.
